Recuerdos de margaritas

Helsinki Flamenco Bienal is making it possible for the family performance Recuerdos de Margaritas (Recollections of Margaritas) to join Hurjaruuth’s repertoire just before the Biennial begins. Blending flamenco, acrobatics, and live music, this vibrant production is a heartfelt celebration of open-minded friendship.

On their journey together into the unknown, Mariana, Lucio and Alfonso find a strong connection to each other through art and become inseparable. The most important thing emerges in every guitar chord, every dance step and every shared laugh.

Memories of Margaritas reminds us of the beauty of surrendering to life and how meaningful it is to find true friendship.

The work humorously combines acrobatics, flamenco, circus and live music, played on guitar and ukulele. The music was composed for this performance.

The performance has been brought to Finland in collaboration with the Helsinki Flamenco Bienal festival.
